Both are listed correctly. I'm using the exact same hardware configuration as the last time I played Soul Calibur 6. I've also ran Windows in recovery mode with an installation media to check OS file integrity. Issue was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling all Visual Studio redistributable packages from my PC. I actually did try reinstalling all the VC redist to no avail, it was specifically uninstalling and then reinstalling that did the trick If someone else is looking through this, I've seen people suggest running the game with "-d3d12" in run commands, updating system BIOS, and deleting and reinstalling DirectX DLL files from System32 google that, don't delete files from that folder willy nilly Hopefully that helps someone.

Last edited by Swood Aneue ; 17 May, pm. Thank you for documenting your troubleshooting. Unfortunately, re-installing the redistributable packages didn't help. I'm at a loss as to what the issue is, as my game was working just yesterday.

I'm having the same issue, I have my personal desktop and a second machine in my apartment being used as a pseudo-console, I originally started the game from the second machine but I get "failed to load save data" and it seems to think the save is corrupted when trying to launch it on my personal desktop.

Same here Is your progress lost on the other machine after being lost on the 2nd one too? I'm getting home in a few hours and if the progress is lost there too I'm dying! I made a few creations which took a while to make Can we reach out to steam to restore progress? I'm a bit lost here. And very sad that the progress is all gone now on my 2nd machine.

Have you made sure all the DLC is loaded? Also, what about the original local file from the other PC? Have you tried putting that into the save folder and see if it loads? Tried reinstalling the game on my Desktop comptuer, didn't solve a damn thing. Implementing save data to properly backup to the steam cloud must be hard.. It seems. I don't have any DLC, but i do still have the original local file, I'll try to get it from the other computer and update here. Unfortunately, neither this service nor the developers keep back ups of user save files as this information is stored locally on the user's system and there's no way to recover this information.
